Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before use. For accurate measurements and safety:

  1. Do not use on infants, young children, or persons unable to express themselves.
  2. Consult physician before use if you have arrhythmia, blood circulation problems, or other medical conditions.
  3. Do not use during physical activity or immediately after exercise.
  4. Wait at least 5 minutes between measurements on the same person.
  5. Do not use in areas with strong electromagnetic fields (near microwave ovens, mobile phones).

Device Overview

Initial Setup

Before first use: Install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date/time, practice cuff application.

  1. Battery installation: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. AC adapter (optional): Connect to DC 6V port (use only Microlife-approved adapter).
  3. Date/time setting: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  4. Cuff practice: Apply cuff to arm without connecting to device to learn proper positioning.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if not using for extended periods.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results: Rest 5 minutes before measuring, sit correctly, apply cuff properly.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest arm on table with palm up, cuff at heart level.
  3. Apply cuff: 1-2 cm above elbow, artery marker over brachial artery.
  4. Connect tube to device.
  5. Press START/STOP: Device inflates automatically, then slowly deflates.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Results display: Systolic, diastolic, pulse rate, and any irregular heartbeat detection.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

2-user memory with 30 measurements each. Memory organization by date/time.

  1. Select user: Press MEMORY button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button twice quickly to scroll through stored measurements.
  3. Average values: Device calculates morning (6am-10am) and evening (6pm-10pm) averages.
  4. Memory full: Oldest measurement automatically deleted when memory full.
  5. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY for 5 seconds while in memory view mode.

Note: Memory preserved when batteries removed (for approximately 5 minutes).

Care & Maintenance

Clean device with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Cuff cleaning: Wipe with damp cloth, air dry completely before storage.
  2. Device storage: Store in case provided, keep in cool dry place.
  3. Battery replacement: Replace when battery symbol appears on display.
  4. Cuff inspection: Check for cracks or leaks periodically.
  5. Accuracy check: Have device checked annually by authorized service center.
