First-Time Setup

Prepare monitor for first use following these steps.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START button to adjust.
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level, sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is properly positioned for accurate readings. Do not overtighten.

Operation: Press START to begin measurement. Monitor automatically inflates, measures, and deflates. Results display for 2 minutes before auto power off.

Proper Measurement Technique

For accurate results, follow these steps precisely.

  1. Sit comfortably on chair with back supported, feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest for 5 minutes before measurement, avoid talking or moving.
  3. Apply cuff to left arm (unless instructed otherwise by physician).
  4. Position cuff at heart level, ensure tubing is not kinked.
  5. Press START button, remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Record reading if desired, wait 3 minutes between measurements.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Store and recall measurements for two users.

  1. Select user: Press MEMORY button before measurement to select User 1 or User 2.
  2. Store measurement: After measurement, value is automatically stored for selected user.
  3. Recall memory: Press and release MEMORY button to scroll through stored values.
  4. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds while in memory mode.
  5. View average: Last three measurements average displays with AVG symbol.

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 99 measurements stored per user.

Special Features

WHO Classification: Color bars indicate optimal (green), normal (yellow), or high (red) blood pressure. Irregular Heartbeat Detection: Symbol appears if irregular rhythm detected during measurement. Hypertension Indicator: Flashing warning if systolic ≥140 or diastolic ≥90 mmHg.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  2. Store in protective case, avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.
