Initial Setup

Before first use: Install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date and time.

  1. Battery Installation: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. AC Adapter: Plug adapter into DC input on monitor, then into wall outlet.
  3. Date/Time Setting: Press and hold M button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, M to confirm and move to next setting.
  4. Cuff Connection: Plug cuff tube firmly into the cuff port on the monitor.

Tip: For most accurate results, use AC adapter or fresh alkaline batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For reliable results: Rest for 5 minutes before measuring, avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.

  1. Sit correctly: Sit on a chair with back support, feet flat on floor, legs uncrossed.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Ensure tube runs down center of arm.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Relax palm upward.
  4. Select user: Press User button to select User 1 or User 2.
  5. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  7. Read results: Measurement completes when cuff deflates. Results display with WHO indicator.
  8. Power off: Monitor turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm. Do not overtighten.

Memory Function

Stores up to 99 measurements for each of two users with date and time stamp.

  1. View memory: Press M button to enter memory mode. Display shows latest measurement.
  2. Scroll: Press START/STOP to scroll through stored measurements.
  3. View average: After scrolling through all measurements, average of last three appears.
  4. Switch users: Press User button to view memory for other user.
  5. Exit memory: Press M button again or wait 1 minute for auto shut-off.

Note: Memory is preserved when batteries are removed if changed within 3 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean monitor: Use slightly damp cloth with mild detergent. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Clean cuff: Wipe with damp cloth. Do not wash or iron.
  3. Storage: Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Batteries: Replace when battery symbol appears. Remove if not using for extended period.
  5. Cuff inspection: Check for cracks or leaks periodically.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble the monitor.
