Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Connect cuff: Plug cuff tube into connector on side of unit.
  4. Test operation: Press START/STOP to ensure device powers on.

Tip: For most accurate results, use AC adapter instead of batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Position cuff at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP button to begin measurement.
  6. Remain still and quiet during inflation and measurement.
  7. Read results on display when measurement completes.
  8. Press START/STOP to turn off device or wait for auto power-off.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level for accurate results.

Understanding Results

The display shows systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.

Memory Function

Store and review measurements for two users.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. View average: Hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to see average of last 3 readings.
  4. Clear memory: In memory mode, hold SET button for 5 seconds to clear current user's memory.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and long device life.

CAUTION! Do not wash cuff in washing machine. Do not expose device to extreme temperatures or humidity.
