Preparation Before Use

Proper preparation ensures accurate measurements.

  1. Rest: Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Position: Sit with back straight, feet flat, arm supported at heart level.
  3. Cuff Application: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Power: Insert 4 AA batteries or connect AC adapter.

WARNING! Do not measure immediately after exercise, eating, or consuming caffeine. Ensure cuff tube is not kinked.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Press the START/STOP button to power on.
  2. Select user (U1 or U2) if prompted.
  3. Cuff will inflate automatically; remain still and quiet.
  4. Results display systolic, diastolic pressure, pulse rate, and WHO indicator.
  5. Press START/STOP to turn off or wait for auto shut-off.

CAUTION! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.
