Specifications

Initial Setup & Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the device.
  2. Insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment.
  4. Set the date and time:
    • Press and hold the MEMORY button until the year flashes.
    • Use the START/STOP button to change values and the MEMORY button to confirm and move to month, day, hour, and minute.

Note: The device will perform a self-test upon first battery insertion.

Taking a Measurement

For the most accurate results, measure at the same time each day, before taking medication.

  1. Prepare: Sit comfortably with feet flat on the floor. Rest for 5 minutes. Place your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  2. Apply Cuff: Slide your arm through the cuff loop. Place the cuff 1-2 cm above your elbow. The air tube should run down the center of your inner arm. Tighten the cuff snugly using the Velcro. The range indicator (✔) should be within the marked area.
  3. Select User: Press the MEMORY button to select User 1 or User 2 icon.
  4. Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and do not talk.
  5. Read Results: After deflation, your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. The WHO bar graph will indicate the classification. An irregular heartbeat symbol (IHD) will appear if detected.
  6. The device will automatically store the reading and power off after one minute.

For MAM Mode (Average): Press the MAM button before starting. The device will take 3 consecutive readings with short pauses and then display the average value.

Using the Memory Function

The device stores the last 99 readings for each user separately, along with date and time.

  1. View Memory: Ensure the correct user icon (1 or 2) is selected. Press the MEMORY button briefly. The display will show the most recent reading (M01).
  2. Scroll: Press the MEMORY button repeatedly to scroll through all stored readings (M01 to M99).
  3. Clear Memory: To delete all readings for the currently selected user, press and hold the MEMORY button for more than 5 seconds while in memory mode until "CLR" appears.
