  1. Do not use on infants, children, or persons unable to express themselves.
  2. Consult physician before use if you have arrhythmia, pre-eclampsia, or arteriosclerosis.
  3. Do not use during or immediately after physical exercise.
  4. Wait at least 5 minutes between measurements on the same person.
  5. Do not use in high humidity, near flammable gas, or in MRI/CT scan environments.

Device Overview

Front Panel: LCD Display, START/STOP Button, MEMORY Button, USER Button, DATE/TIME Button.

Display Symbols: Systolic Pressure, Diastolic Pressure, Pulse Rate, User Indicator (1/2), Memory Full, Battery Low, AFIB Symbol, Irregular Heartbeat Symbol, WHO Indicator Bars, Date/Time, Average Value.

Cuff: Arrow marking for artery positioning, D-ring closure, air tube connector.

Initial Setup

Before first use: Install batteries and set date/time.

  1. Open battery compartment on back of unit; insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Press any button to activate display.
  3. Press and hold DATE/TIME button for 3 seconds to enter setting mode.
  4. Use START/STOP to change values; MEMORY to confirm and move to next setting.
  5. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  6. Apply cuff correctly: Wrap around bare upper arm with arrow over brachial artery.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Apply cuff to left upper arm (unless instructed otherwise by physician).
  3. Position cuff 1-2 cm above elbow with artery marker aligned with brachial artery.
  4. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP button - unit will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Results display automatically with systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate.
  8. Unit automatically deflates and stores reading in memory.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.

Memory Function

Stores 99 readings for each of 2 users with date/time stamp.

  1. Press MEMORY button to review stored readings.
  2. Use START/STOP to scroll through readings.
  3. Press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to delete all readings for current user.
  4. Average function: Automatically calculates average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes.

Note: Memory full icon appears when 99 readings are stored. Delete old readings to store new ones.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  2. Store in provided case in cool, dry place.
  3. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth if necessary; air dry completely.
  4. Do not expose to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble or attempt repairs. No user-serviceable parts inside.

Battery Information

Important: Replace all batteries at same time. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types.
