Display Symbols: Systolic/Diastolic Pressure, Pulse Rate, AFIB Symbol, Irregular Heartbeat Symbol, WHO Indicator Bar, User Indicator, Battery Icon, Memory Full Icon, Error Symbols.

Side/Back: Battery Compartment, Air Tube Connector, Cuff Wrapping Guide.

Cuff: Marked with "ARTERY" arrow for proper placement over brachial artery.

Before First Use

Prepare the device for its first measurement.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment on back. Insert 4 AA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-). Close compartment.
  2. Set Date & Time (if applicable): Press and hold the M button for 3 seconds to enter setup mode. Use START/STOP to adjust values. Press M to confirm and move to next setting.

CAUTION! Do not use rechargeable batteries. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.

Taking a Measurement

For the most accurate results, follow these steps precisely.

  1. Rest: Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid caffeine, exercise, and smoking for 30 minutes prior.
  2. Position: Sit with back straight, feet flat. Place arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  3. Select User: Press the User button (1 or 2) to select your memory profile. The user icon will appear on the display.
  4. Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain Still: Do not move, talk, or clench your fist during inflation and measurement.
  6. Read Results: The systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. The WHO indicator bar will light up. Symbols for AFIB or irregular heartbeat may appear if detected.
  7. Cuff Deflation: The cuff will deflate completely. The device will automatically store the reading in memory for the selected user.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Understanding Results & Symbols

The display shows key information and warning symbols.

Symbol/DisplayMeaning
