Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER SELECT button (1/2), LCD display.

Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries and set date/time.

  1. Open battery compartment on back; insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Press any button to turn unit on. "0:00" will flash.
  3. Set time: Press MEMORY button to adjust hours, then START/STOP to confirm. Repeat for minutes.
  4. Set date: After time is set, year will flash. Use MEMORY to adjust, START/STOP to confirm. Repeat for month and day.
  5. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2. The corresponding icon will appear.

Tip: Rest in a quiet place for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably on a chair with back support, feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest for 5 minutes. Avoid talking or moving during measurement.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow. Tube should run down center of arm.
  4. Ensure cuff is snug but not tight; you should fit one finger underneath.
  5. Place arm on table so cuff is at heart level. Relax palm upward.
  6. Press START/STOP button. Unit will inflate automatically.
  7. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  8. Readings display: Systolic, diastolic, pulse. WHO indicator shows category.
  9. If irregular heartbeat is detected, the symbol will appear next to pulse.
  10. Unit turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff repeatedly in quick succession. Wait 2-3 minutes between measurements.

Memory & Data Management

View, recall, and clear stored readings.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button once. The most recent reading appears with index number (e.g., 99).
  3. Scroll: Press MEMORY repeatedly to scroll through all stored readings for that user.
  4. View average: After the last stored reading, the average of the last 3 readings (taken within 10 min) displays with an "AVG" icon.
  5. Clear memory: While in memory mode, press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds until "CLr" appears. All readings for the selected user are deleted.

Note: Memory is separate for each user. Date and time are stored with each reading.

Care & Maintenance

Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device. No user-serviceable parts inside.
