First-Time Setup

Prepare device before first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open compartment, install 4xAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold M button for 3 seconds, use START to adjust.
  3. Select user: Press M button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  4. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is snug but not tight. Arm should be supported at heart level.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff correctly as described.
  3. Press START/STOP: Device inflates automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, pulse displayed.
  6. Device deflates automatically; stores reading.
  7. Remove cuff after measurement complete.

Tip: Take measurements at same time daily for consistent tracking.

Using MAM Technology

MAM (Microlife Average Mode) provides medical-grade average of 3 consecutive readings.

  1. Activate MAM: Press and hold START button for 3 seconds until MAM icon appears.
  2. First measurement begins automatically.
  3. After first reading, wait 1-2 minutes (device prompts).
  4. Second and third measurements auto-start.
  5. Final display shows average of all 3 readings.

Note: MAM is recommended for initial diagnosis and treatment monitoring.

Memory Function

Stores 99 readings per user (2 users total).

  1. View memory: Press M button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Delete single reading: Display reading, press and hold M for 3 seconds.
  3. Delete all readings: With memory displayed, press and hold START and M together for 5 seconds.
  4. Memory full: Oldest reading automatically overwritten.

Tip: Record readings in a logbook for physician review.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug/battery removal before cleaning. Use slightly damp cloth only; do not immerse.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasives. Do not disassemble.
