Device Overview
- Front Panel: START/STOP button, USER 1/USER 2 buttons, MEMORY button, LCD display.
- Display Symbols: Systolic/Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, WHO indicator, User icon, Memory icon, Battery icon, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Cuff error symbol, Clock.
- Side Port: Cuff hose connection.
- Rear Compartment: Battery compartment (4xAA) and adapter socket.
- Cuff: With Velcro closure, air tube, and artery marker.
Initial Setup
Power the device and set the date/time.
- Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment on back, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
- Or Use AC Adapter: Plug adapter into socket on back and into wall outlet.
- Set Date/Time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, USER buttons to move between fields.
- Attach Cuff: Connect cuff tube to the port on the side of the monitor until it clicks.
Tip: For most accurate results, use AC adapter or ensure batteries are fresh.
Taking a Measurement
For reliable results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
- Sit correctly: Sit on a chair with back support, feet flat on floor, legs uncrossed.
- Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm. Artery marker (△) should align with brachial artery. Edge of cuff should be 2-3 cm above elbow. Secure with Velcro.
- Position arm: Rest arm on a table so cuff is at heart level. Relax palm upward.
- Select User: Press USER 1 or USER 2 button. The corresponding icon will appear.
- Start Measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and quiet.
- Read Results: Measurement completes when cuff deflates. Systolic, diastolic, and pulse will display. WHO indicator will light.
- Power Off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute, or press START/STOP.
WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.
Understanding Results
The LCD shows systolic pressure (top), diastolic pressure (middle), and pulse rate (bottom).

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: If this icon appears, a pulse irregularity was detected during the measurement. Consult your physician if it appears frequently.
Memory Function
Stores 99 measurements for each of two users.
- View Memory: Press MEMORY button. The display shows the most recent reading for the selected user with a memory number.
- Scroll: Press USER 1 or USER 2 to switch users. Press START/STOP to scroll through that user's stored readings.
- Average Value: After displaying the third stored reading, the average of the last three measurements for that user is shown.
- Clear Memory: To delete all memory for the current user, press and hold the USER button while in memory mode until "CLr" appears.
Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed or changed.
Care & Maintenance
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.
- Storage: Keep in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Cuff Care: Wipe cuff with a damp cloth if soiled. Do not machine wash or iron.
- Batteries: Remove batteries if device will not be used for more than 3 months.
- Do not disassemble: There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not drop the monitor.

Troubleshooting
