Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Select user: Press User selector for User 1 or User 2.
  4. Connect AC adapter (optional): Plug into device and wall outlet.

Tip: Use fresh alkaline batteries for best performance. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.

Taking Measurements

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, aligning artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Keep cuff at heart level during measurement.
  5. Press START/STOP button - device inflates automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Readings display when measurement complete.
  8. Device deflates automatically.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Do not inflate cuff when not attached to arm.

Memory Function

Store and recall measurements.

  1. Select user: Press User selector for User 1 or User 2.
  2. Automatic storage: Each measurement automatically saves to selected user memory.
  3. Recall memory: Press Memory button to scroll through stored readings.
  4. View average: Last 3 readings average displays after third measurement.
  5. Clear memory: Press and hold User selector for 5 seconds to clear selected user's memory.

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 99 readings stored. Oldest readings overwritten automatically.

Care & Maintenance

Clean device regularly for optimal performance.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth. Do not machine wash.
  2. Wipe main unit with dry soft cloth.
  3. Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
  4. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  5. Remove batteries if not using for more than 3 months.

CAUTION! Do not immerse device in water. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs.
