Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, User Select button (1/2), LCD display. Cuff: Velcro closure, air tube connection point, artery marker.

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date and Time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START to adjust values.
  3. Apply Cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Position: Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat, arm resting at heart level.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Avoid talking or moving during measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Select User: Press User button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. Apply Cuff: Wrap cuff snugly 1-2 cm above elbow, tube facing downward.
  3. Position Arm: Rest arm on table with palm up, cuff at heart level.
  4. Start Measurement: Press START button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain Still: Do not move or talk until measurement completes.
  6. Read Results: Systolic, diastolic pressures and pulse rate display with WHO indicator.
  7. Automatic Storage: Measurement automatically saves to selected user's memory.
  8. Power Off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute of inactivity.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm. Excessive pressure may cause injury.

Memory Function

Review stored measurements and averages.

  1. View Memory: Press MEMORY button to display most recent measurement.
  2. Scroll: Press MEMORY repeatedly to scroll through stored values (newest to oldest).
  3. View Average: After last stored value, average of last 3 measurements displays.
  4. Switch Users: Press User button to view other user's memory.
  5. Clear Memory: To delete all measurements for current user, press and hold MEMORY and User buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.

Note: When memory is full (60 measurements), oldest measurement is automatically overwritten.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and long device life.

CAUTION! Do not immerse device in water. Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat sources.
