Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER 1/USER 2 selection, LCD display.

Before First Use

Prepare device for initial measurement.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START to adjust.
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Rest: Sit quietly for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Tip: For most accurate results, take measurements at the same time each day.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Place cuff on left arm (or as directed by physician) at heart level.
  3. Press USER 1 or USER 2 to select user profile.
  4. Press START/STOP button - device will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Reading displays with systolic, diastolic, pulse rate, and classification.
  7. Device automatically deflates and stores reading in memory.
  8. For 3-reading average: Take 2 more readings within 10 minutes - average displays automatically.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is not too tight or loose.

Memory Function

2-user memory with 99 readings capacity each.

  1. Select user: Press USER 1 or USER 2 button before measurement.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Memory full: "FULL" icon appears when 99 readings stored; oldest reading is overwritten.
  4. Clear memory: Press and hold USER button for 5 seconds while in memory mode (beeps twice).

Note: Date and time stored with each reading. Memory maintained for approximately 72 hours without batteries.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if irregular pulse detected during measurement. Consult physician if frequent.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Remove batteries if not used for extended period.
  2. Store in provided case in cool, dry place.
  3. Clean cuff with damp cloth if necessary (do not machine wash).
  4. Replace batteries when low battery icon appears.
  5. Have device checked for accuracy every 2 years.
