Initial Setup

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date and Time: Press SET button, use START to adjust values, press SET to confirm.
  3. Cuff Preparation: Ensure cuff is completely deflated and tube is securely connected.
  4. Positioning: Sit quietly for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Tip: For most accurate results, take measurements at the same time each day.

Taking a Measurement

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest arm on table with palm up, cuff at heart level.
  3. Wrap cuff snugly around bare upper arm, 2-3 cm above elbow.
  4. Align artery marker with brachial artery on inner arm.
  5. Press START button. Device will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Results display with systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings.
  8. WHO indicator shows color zone (green=yellow=orange=red).
  9. If irregular heartbeat detected, symbol appears.
  10. Device deflates completely and shuts off after 1 minute.

CAUTION! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm. Do not move or talk during measurement.

Memory Function

Viewing Memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored measurements. Display shows reading number, systolic/diastolic values, pulse, date, and time.

Clearing Memory: Hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds until "CLr" appears. All memory slots will be erased.

Memory Full: When 30 slots are full, oldest reading is automatically overwritten.

Care & Maintenance

  1. Clean cuff with damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Clean monitor with dry soft cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  3. Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Remove batteries if not using for extended period (more than 3 months).
  5. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
  6. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs.

CAUTION! Do not wash cuff in washing machine. Do not expose to extreme temperatures or humidity.
