Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

1. Insert batteries: Open compartment, insert 4xAA batteries observing polarity.
2. Set date/time: Press SET button, use START to adjust values, press SET to confirm.
3. Connect cuff: Insert cuff tube into socket until it clicks.
4. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
5. Install software: Insert CD, follow on-screen instructions for PC software.

Tip: Wait 5 minutes after physical activity before first measurement.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow proper procedure.

1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes with back supported, feet flat.
2. Apply cuff: Place on bare upper arm, arrow aligned with brachial artery, 2-3 cm above elbow.
3. Position arm: Keep cuff at heart level, relax arm on table.
4. Start measurement: Press START button, remain still and quiet.
5. Read results: Display shows systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate.
6. Interpretation: WHO indicator shows green (normal), yellow (elevated), or red (high).
7. Irregular heartbeat: Symbol appears if detected during measurement.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Remove tight clothing from arm.

PC Connectivity & Software

Transfer data to computer for tracking and analysis.

1. Install software from CD or download latest version from www.microlife.com.
2. Connect device: Use USB cable when device is off.
3. Start software: Open Microlife Health Management Software.
4. Transfer data: Follow on-screen instructions to import measurements.
5. View trends: Software displays graphs, statistics, and printable reports.
6. Multiple users: Software supports separate profiles for User 1 and User 2.

System Requirements: Windows 7/8/10, USB port, CD-ROM drive, 100MB free disk space.

Memory Function

Store and recall measurements for tracking.

• Memory Capacity: 90 measurements per user (2 users total).
• View Memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored values.
• Date/Time Stamp: Each measurement stored with date and time.
• Average Calculation: Last 3 measurements average displayed in memory mode.
• Memory Full: Symbol appears when memory is full; oldest entry overwritten.
• Clear Memory: Hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds while in memory mode.

Battery & Power
