Taking a Measurement

For the most accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Prepare: Sit comfortably on a chair with back support. Rest for 5 minutes. Place feet flat on the floor and do not cross legs.
  2. Apply Cuff: Bare your left arm. Slide cuff onto arm so the tube runs down the center of your inner arm. Position the cuff edge 2-3 cm above your elbow. The artery marker (◯) should be over your brachial artery. Secure with Velcro snugly, but not too tight.
  3. Position Arm: Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Relax your hand with palm facing up.
  4. Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  5. Read Results: Your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. The WHO indicator bar will show your classification (e.g., Optimal, Normal, High). An Irregular Heartbeat symbol (❤️ with *) will flash if detected.
  6. MAM Mode (Optional): For a more accurate average, the device will automatically begin a series of 3 measurements 1 minute apart after the first reading. Stay seated with the cuff on.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during inflation and measurement.

Using the Memory Function

The device stores the last 200 measurements for each user with date and time.

  1. View Memory: Press the M button. The display shows the most recent reading for the selected user.
  2. Scroll: Press the START/STOP button to scroll backwards through the memory. Press the User button to jump to the oldest reading.
  3. Exit Memory: Press the M button again or wait 60 seconds to return to standby mode.
  4. Clear Memory: To delete all data for the current user, enter memory mode, scroll to the oldest reading, then press and hold the User button for 5 seconds until "CLr" appears.
