Preparation for Measurement

  3. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  4. Remove tight clothing from upper arm.
  5. Apply cuff to bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  6. Position cuff at heart level during measurement.
  7. Remain still and quiet during measurement.

Understanding Results

Access OSD via TV MENU or SETUP (DVD). Front Panel: POWER, OPEN/CLOSE, AUTO/DPMS, MUTE.

WHO Classification: - Green: Optimal/Normal (Systolic < 130, Diastolic < 85) - Yellow: High Normal/Mild Hypertension (Systolic 130-159, Diastolic 85-99) - Red: Moderate/Severe Hypertension (Systolic ≥ 160, Diastolic ≥ 100)

Memory Function

Stores up to 99 readings per user with date/time stamp.

  1. Press MEMORY button to enter memory mode.
  2. Use arrow buttons to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Press SET to view average of last 3 measurements.
  4. To delete all memory: Hold MEMORY for 5 seconds until "CLR" appears.
  5. Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced.

Tip: Regular memory review helps track blood pressure trends over time.

Care & Maintenance

Supports DVD-Video, audio CDs.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  2. Wipe main unit with dry, soft cloth.
  3. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  5. Replace cuff if Velcro loses adhesion or fabric tears.
  6. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners.
  7. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.
