Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER button (1/2), LCD display.

Display Symbols: Systolic pressure, Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Battery indicator, Memory indicator, Cuff fit indicator, WHO classification bar.

Connector Port: For cuff tube connection on side of device.

Initial Setup

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date & Time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect Cuff: Plug cuff tube firmly into device port.
  4. Select User: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 for memory storage.

Tip: Wait 5 minutes after physical activity or eating before first measurement.

Taking a Measurement

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Tube should run down center of arm.
  3. Position cuff at heart level. Rest arm on table.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Results display automatically with pulse reading.
  7. Device deflates automatically. Press START/STOP to turn off.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is not too tight or loose.

Understanding Results

Systolic (upper number): Pressure when heart beats. Diastolic (lower number): Pressure when heart rests between beats.

Irregular heartbeat symbol appears if irregular rhythm detected during measurement.

Memory Function

Stores up to 60 readings per user (30 each for User 1 and User 2).

  1. To view memory: Press MEMORY button. Display shows average of last 3 readings.
  2. Press again to scroll through individual readings with date/time.
  3. To clear memory: Press and hold USER and MEMORY buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are replaced if done within 2 minutes.

Battery & Power

CAUTION! Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended period. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Care & Cleaning

Remove batteries before cleaning. Wipe device with slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.

Cuff Care: Wipe with mild soap solution. Do not machine wash. Do not twist tube.

Storage: Store in provided case in cool, dry place. Do not store with cuff tightly wrapped.
