Device Overview

Front Panel: Large LCD display, START/STOP button, MEMORY button, MAM button.

Display Symbols: Systolic/Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, WHO indicator, AFIB symbol, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Memory indicator, Battery indicator, Date/Time.

Side/Back: AC adapter port, battery compartment, cuff connector.

Cuff: Velcro closure, air tube, artery marker (align with brachial artery).

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4xAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Plug air tube into connector on side of device until it clicks.
  4. AC adapter (optional): Plug into port on side and into wall outlet.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries and AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow. Artery marker over brachial artery.
  3. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Keep feet flat, back supported.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Reading displays with systolic, diastolic, pulse rate, and WHO indicator.
  7. Device automatically deflates and stores reading.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Device stores up to 200 readings with date/time.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Delete single reading: While viewing reading, press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds.
  3. Delete all memory: In memory mode, press and hold both MEMORY and START/STOP for 5 seconds.
  4. Memory full: Oldest reading automatically deleted when memory exceeds 200.

NOTE: Memory preserved during battery change for approximately 1 hour.

MAM Mode (Average Mode)

MAM provides more accurate average by taking 3 consecutive readings.

  1. Prepare as for normal measurement.
  2. Press MAM button instead of START/STOP.
  3. Device takes 3 readings automatically with 30-second intervals.
  4. Final display shows average of all 3 readings.
  5. All 3 individual readings stored in memory.

Medical Recommendation: MAM mode recommended by hypertension societies for home monitoring.

AFIB Detection

Patented technology screens for possible atrial fibrillation during measurement.

WARNING! Device may not detect all cases of AFIB. Regular medical check-ups essential.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and long device life.

  1. Clean cuff with damp cloth only. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Clean device with dry soft cloth. No solvents or abrasives.
  3. Store in provided case in cool, dry place.
  4. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  5. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble device. No user-serviceable parts inside.
