Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER button (1/2), M button (MAM mode), LCD display with backlight.

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4xAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  4. Connect cuff: Insert air tube into connection port until it clicks.
  5. Test device: Apply cuff properly and take a test measurement.

Tip: For most accurate results, use AC adapter instead of batteries.

Taking Measurements

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.
  2. Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat on floor, legs uncrossed.
  3. Apply cuff to bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Artery marker should align with brachial artery.
  4. Position cuff at heart level. Rest arm on table with palm facing upward.
  5. Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement. Do not move arm or talk.
  7. Results display automatically. Cuff deflates completely.
  8. For MAM mode: Press M button before starting. Device takes 3 readings with 1-minute intervals.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm. Do not use on injured arm.

The display shows systolic pressure (top), diastolic pressure (middle), and pulse rate (bottom).

Memory & Data Management

Device stores 99 readings per user (2 users total).

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Delete readings: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds when viewing reading.
  3. Clear all memory: With device off, press and hold both MEMORY and USER buttons for 3 seconds.
  4. Data transfer: Connect USB cable to computer. Install Microlife software from website.
  5. Average calculation: Device automatically calculates average of last 3 readings.

Note: Memory is maintained when changing batteries if done within 2 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Clean device regularly for optimal performance.
