Initial Setup

Before first use: Install batteries and set date/time.

  1. Open battery compartment on back; insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Press START/STOP button to turn on device.
  3. Press and hold M button for 3 seconds to enter setup mode.
  4. Use START/STOP to adjust year, month, day, hour, minute; press M to confirm each.
  5. Select user: Press User Button (1/2) to choose User 1 or User 2.

Tip: For most accurate readings, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

Taking a Measurement

For reliable results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Tube should be centered over artery.
  3. Ensure cuff fits snugly; you should fit one finger between cuff and arm.
  4. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Reading displays with systolic, diastolic, pulse rate, and WHO indicator.
  8. Cuff deflates automatically; device stores reading in memory.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Do not inflate cuff when not attached to arm.

Memory Function

Stores 99 readings per user (2 users total).

  1. To view memory: Press M button once to see average of last 3 readings.
  2. Press M again to scroll through individual stored readings (most recent first).
  3. To switch users: Press User Button (1/2) to select different user memory.
  4. To clear memory: In memory mode, press and hold M for 5 seconds until "CLr" appears.

Note: Memory is preserved when batteries are replaced if done within 2 minutes.

MAM Technology

Microlife Average Mode provides more accurate blood pressure assessment.

  1. Activate MAM: Press and hold START/STOP for 3 seconds until "MAM" appears.
  2. Device automatically takes 3 consecutive readings with 30-second intervals.
  3. After 3rd reading, device calculates and displays average of all 3 measurements.
  4. All 3 individual readings and the average are stored in memory.

Important: Remain seated and still throughout the entire MAM measurement cycle (approximately 3 minutes).

Care & Maintenance

Clean device with soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemicals or immerse in water.

  1. Store in provided case when not in use.
  2. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
  3. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth if soiled; air dry completely.
  4. Do not fold cuff tube sharply; avoid kinks.
  5. Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended period.

Battery Information

To replace batteries: Open compartment, remove old batteries, insert new ones observing correct polarity (+/-). Dispose of old batteries properly according to local regulations.
