Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, Memory (M) button, User Select (1/2) button, LCD Display. Cuff: D-Ring, Air tube connector, Artery marker.

Initial Setup

Before first use: Insert batteries or connect AC adapter, set date and time.

  1. Power Source: Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) or plug in the AC adapter.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold the M button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, M button to confirm and move to next setting.
  3. Select User: Press the User (1/2) button to choose your profile (User 1 or User 2).
  4. Apply Cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm. The artery marker (▷) should be over the brachial artery on the inner arm. The tube should run down the center of the arm.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit in a quiet environment.

Taking a Measurement

For the most accurate results, follow these steps precisely.

  1. Position: Sit on a chair with back support, feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  2. Apply Cuff: Ensure cuff fits snugly but not too tight (1 finger should fit between cuff and arm).
  3. Start: Press the START/STOP button. The monitor will inflate automatically via Intellisense.
  4. Remain Still: Do not move or talk during inflation and measurement.
  5. Read Results: The systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings will display. The WHO bar graph will illuminate. Symbols for AFIB or irregular heartbeat may appear.
  6. Power Off: The device will automatically deflate and turn off after displaying results for approximately 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around an arm.

Memory Function

The device stores up to 99 measurements for each of the two users, with date and time stamp.

  1. Recall Memory: Press the M button. The display will show the last reading with a memory number.
  2. Scroll: Press the M button repeatedly to scroll through all stored readings for the selected user.
  3. Clear Memory: To clear all memory for the current user, press and hold the User (1/2) button while in memory mode until "CLr" appears.
  4. Switch Users: Press the User (1/2) button at any time to switch profiles and access the other user's memory.

Refer to the WHO classification bar on the display:

Care & Maintenance

Unplug or remove batteries before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble the monitor. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
