Device Overview

Before First Use

Prepare the device for first measurement.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment on back, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date & Time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, USER to confirm and move to next setting.
  3. Apply Cuff Correctly: Sit quietly for 5 minutes. Place cuff on bare upper left arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Ensure air tube runs down the center of your arm. Cuff should be snug but not tight.

Tip: For most accurate results, take measurements at the same time each day, before medication or meals.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for an accurate reading.

  1. Sit comfortably on a chair with back support, feet flat on the floor.
  2. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  3. Press the USER button to select your profile (User 1 or User 2).
  4. Press the START/STOP button. The device will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  6. Your systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display.
  7. The result is automatically saved to the selected user's memory.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure the cuff is at heart level for accurate results.

Note: The AFIB screening feature is for indicative purposes only. A positive result requires confirmation by a physician.

Memory Function

Viewing and managing stored readings.

  1. To View Memory: Press the MEMORY button. The most recent reading for the selected user displays.
  2. To Scroll: Press MEMORY repeatedly to scroll through all stored readings for that user.
  3. To See Average: After displaying the third consecutive reading in memory, the average of the last three readings taken within 10 minutes of each other will be shown automatically.
  4. To Clear Memory: While in memory mode, press and hold the MEMORY button for 5 seconds. "CLr" will flash, then all readings for the currently selected user will be deleted.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter (if used) and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean the device and cuff with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Do not use abrasive cleaners, thinners, or benzene.
  3. Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  4. Do not bend or kink the air tube.

CAUTION! Never wash the cuff in a washing machine. Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the unit.

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the low battery icon appears on the display.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back.
  2. Remove the old batteries.
  3. Insert 4 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the cover securely.
  5. Dispose of old batteries according to local regulations.

Note: If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage.
