Device Overview

Front Panel: LCD display, START/STOP button. Side: AC adapter port. Rear: Battery compartment, cuff tube connector.

Cuff: Arrow marking (align with artery), D-ring for secure fastening, Velcro closure, air tube connector.

Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date/time, and select user.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment on back, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold START/STOP button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, wait 5 seconds to confirm.
  3. Select User: Press the USER button (next to START/STOP) to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  4. Apply Cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow. Arrow should point to artery. Secure with D-ring.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, remain still and quiet during measurement.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported, feet flat.
  2. Wrap cuff correctly on left arm (unless instructed otherwise by physician).
  3. Rest arm on table so cuff is at heart level.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  6. Read results on display. Systolic, diastolic, and pulse will show.
  7. Results are automatically stored in memory for selected user.
  8. Device will power off automatically after 1 minute.

Note: If irregular heartbeat symbol appears, measurement may be less accurate. Repeat after resting 5 minutes.

Memory Function

View stored readings and calculate averages.

  1. To recall memory: Press and release the USER button (do not hold).
  2. Most recent reading for selected user displays first.
  3. Press USER button again to scroll through previous readings (up to 30 per user).
  4. Average value: After 3 readings taken within 10 minutes, the average icon appears and the display shows the average of the last 3 measurements.
  5. To clear memory: Remove batteries for 1 minute. All stored data will be erased.

Tip: Record readings in a log for doctor visits.

Care & Maintenance

Handle device with care to ensure longevity.
