The Microlife TWIN200 VSR is an upper arm blood pressure monitor featuring VSR (Vascular Screening for Risk) technology, which detects irregular heartbeat and possible signs of arterial stiffness. It provides accurate systolic and diastolic blood pressure measurements along with pulse rate. The device includes a large LCD display, memory storage for two users (up to 200 readings each), date and time stamp, WHO classification indicator, and an adjustable cuff for arm circumferences 22-42 cm. Safety Precautions

1. Do not use on infants, children, or persons unable to express their consent.
2. Do not use during physical activity or immediately after exercise.
3. Wait at least 5 minutes after eating, smoking, or consuming caffeine before measuring.
4. Do not use if you have an arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat) without consulting your doctor.
5. Keep device away from electromagnetic fields (microwaves, mobile phones).

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing correct polarity.
2. Set date and time: Press and hold SET button, use MEMORY button to adjust values.
3. Attach cuff to arm: Place cuff on bare upper arm, approximately 2 cm above elbow.
4. Connect air tube: Ensure secure connection between cuff and main unit.
5. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes in a seated position before first measurement of the day.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
2. Place cuff on left arm (or as directed by physician) at heart level.
3. Press START/STOP button - device will inflate automatically.
4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
5. Read results on display when measurement completes.
6. Press START/STOP again to turn off device, or wait for auto shut-off.

Important: Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.

Understanding Results

The display shows systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse rate, and indicators.

Note: If irregular heartbeat symbol appears frequently, consult your physician.

Memory Function

Store and recall measurements for tracking.

1. Automatic storage: Measurements are automatically saved to selected user's memory.
2. Recall measurements: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
3. Average function: Device calculates average of last 3 measurements taken within 10 minutes.
4. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds while in memory mode.
5. User switching: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2 profiles.

Tip: Record your readings in a log book along with notes about medication, diet, or symptoms.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and long device life.

1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
2. Wipe main unit with dry or slightly damp cloth.
3. Store device in provided case in a cool, dry place.
4. Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and direct sunlight.
5. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs.
