Device Overview

Familiarize yourself with the device components.

Front: LCD Display, START/STOP Button.

First-Time Setup

Prepare the device for first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 2 AAA batteries observing polarity, close cover.
  2. Set Date and Time: Press and hold the D/T button. Use START/STOP to adjust values. Press D/T to confirm.
  3. Apply the Cuff: Place cuff on left wrist (recommended) with display facing upward. Position cuff 1-2 cm from hand. Secure snugly with velcro.
  4. Positioning: Rest arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Relax for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Tip: For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day, before meals or medication.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for a proper reading.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on the floor.
  2. Apply the cuff correctly as described in First-Time Setup.
  3. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during inflation and measurement. Do not move your arm or hand.
  5. The cuff will deflate automatically. Your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display.
  6. The measurement is stored automatically in memory.
  7. To turn the device off, press START/STOP again, or it will power off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around your wrist. Avoid taking measurements immediately after exercise, bathing, eating, or consuming caffeine/alcohol.

Understanding Results

Interpreting the display and WHO classification.

Note: A single high reading is not necessarily a cause for concern. Track your readings over time and consult your physician with any concerns.

Memory Function

Reviewing and managing stored readings.

  1. View Memory: Press the Memory (M) button. The most recent reading appears.
  2. Scroll: Press M again to scroll through all 60 memory slots in reverse chronological order (newest to oldest).
  3. Each reading shows: Measurement number, systolic/diastolic values, pulse rate, date, and time.
  4. Clear Memory: To delete all memory, press and hold the M button for more than 3 seconds while in memory mode. "CLr" will flash, then all data will be erased.

Tip: Use the memory function to track your blood pressure trends for discussions with your doctor.

Battery & Power

CAUTION! Use only recommended battery type. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Care & Cleaning

Remove batteries before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or sprays.

Storage: Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and dust.

CAUTION! Never wash the cuff in a washing machine. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself.

Troubleshooting
