Device Overview

Front Panel: LCD Display, START/STOP Button (also ON/OFF).

Side/Back: Memory (M) Button, User (1/2) Selection Button, Battery Compartment Cover, Wrist Strap.

Display Symbols: Systolic Pressure, Diastolic Pressure, Pulse Rate, User Indicator (1 or 2), Battery Indicator, Irregular Heartbeat Symbol (heart icon), Hypertension Stage Indicator (color bar), Memory Recall Icon, Date/Time.

Before First Use

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 2 AAA batteries observing polarity (+/-).
  2. Set Date & Time: Press and hold the START/STOP button for 5 seconds until the year flashes. Use the START/STOP button to adjust values and the Memory (M) button to confirm and move to next setting (month, day, hour, minute).
  3. Select User: Press the User (1/2) button to choose your memory profile (User 1 or User 2).
  4. Prepare for Measurement: Remove tight clothing from wrist. Avoid talking or moving during measurement.

Tip: For most accurate results, take measurements at the same time each day, usually in the morning before medication and in the evening before bed.

Taking a Measurement

  1. Position: Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on the floor. Rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Apply Cuff: Place the cuff on your bare left wrist (or wrist as recommended by your doctor) with the display facing upward. Wrap the cuff snugly about 1 cm (1/2 inch) above your hand. Ensure it is not too tight or loose.
  3. Arm Position: Rest your elbow on a table so the cuff is at the same level as your heart. Keep your palm open and facing upward.
  4. Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and quiet.
  5. Reading: The cuff will deflate slowly. Your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. The measurement is complete when the final values are shown and the unit beeps.
  6. Power Off: The device will automatically turn off after 1 minute, or press START/STOP to turn off immediately.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around your wrist. Do not move or bend your wrist during measurement.

Understanding Results

The display shows three main values:

Hypertension Indicator (Color Bar):
Green: Normal (Systolic < 135 and Diastolic < 85 mmHg)
Yellow: Mild Hypertension (Systolic 135-159 or Diastolic 85-99 mmHg)
Red: Severe Hypertension (Systolic ≥ 160 or Diastolic ≥ 100 mmHg)

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: If a heart icon with a plus (+) appears during or after measurement, it may indicate an irregular pulse rhythm. Consult your physician if this symbol appears frequently.

Memory & Data Management

The device stores readings separately for User 1 and User 2.

  1. Recall Memory: Press the Memory (M) button once. The display will show the last reading with a "M1" indicator. Press repeatedly to scroll through all stored readings in reverse chronological order (M2, M3...).
  2. View Average: After scrolling through all individual readings, the display will show "AVG" followed by the average of the last 3 measurements taken within 10 minutes (if available).
  3. Clear Memory: To delete all readings for the current user, press and hold the Memory (M) button for more than 5 seconds while in memory recall mode until "CLR" appears. Release the button to confirm.
  4. Switch Users: Press the User (1/2) button to select the other user profile before taking a measurement or recalling memory.

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the low battery icon appears on the display.

  1. Press the notch on the battery compartment cover and slide it off.
  2. Remove the old batteries.
  3. Insert 2 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/- markings).
  4. Slide the cover back on until it clicks.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are replaced. Date and time settings may need to be reset.

CAUTION! Use only AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug? Remove batteries before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasives.

Storage: Store in the provided carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, dust, and humidity.

CAUTION! Never wash the cuff or monitor. Do not disassemble the device. Avoid sharp bends in the tubing.
