Device Overview

Front Panel: LCD display, START/STOP button, Memory (M) button, User (1/2) button.

Display Symbols: Systolic/Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, AFIB symbol, WHO color bar (green/yellow/red), User indicator, Memory full icon, Bluetooth icon, Battery indicator, Date/Time.

Side/Back: AC adapter port, Cuff connector, Battery compartment.

Cuff: Velcro closure, air tube, artery marker (align with brachial artery).

Before First Use

Prepare device for initial measurement.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold M button for 3 seconds, use START to adjust.
  3. Select user: Press User button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  4. Apply cuff correctly: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, 2-3 cm above elbow, artery marker over inner arm.
  5. Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Tip: For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day in a seated position.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  3. Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Reading displays: Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse rate.
  6. WHO indicator lights show classification (green=normal, yellow=elevated, red=high).
  7. If AFIB symbol appears, note irregular heartbeat detected.
  8. Device deflates and powers off automatically.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Wait 3 minutes between readings.

Memory Function

Stores up to 200 measurements for 2 users.

  1. Select user before measurement with User button.
  2. View memory: Press M button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average calculation: Device shows average of last 3 readings for selected user.
  4. Memory full: Icon appears when storage is full; oldest readings are overwritten.
  5. Clear memory: Press and hold User and M buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

AFIB Detection

Patented technology screens for atrial fibrillation.

Important: AFIB detection may be less accurate in presence of frequent extrasystoles or other arrhythmias.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures device longevity and accuracy.

  1. Clean cuff with damp cloth only; do not immerse in water.
  2. Wipe main unit with dry, soft cloth.
  3. Store in provided case in cool, dry place.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery icon appears.
  5. Have device checked for accuracy every 2 years.
  6. Do not expose to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble device.
