Device Overview

Front: LCD display, START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER button, BACKLIGHT button. Side: Air tube connector, AC adapter port (optional). Cuff: Velcro closure, artery marker, metal ring.

Display Symbols: Systolic pressure, Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, User indicator (1 or 2), Memory full, Irregular heartbeat, Battery low, Risk category (color bar), Date/Time, Average value.

First-Time Setup

Prepare device before first measurement.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  4. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is snug but not tight. Arm should be supported at heart level.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes, feet flat, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff: On left arm (unless instructed otherwise), 2-3 cm above elbow.
  3. Position arm: Place cuff at heart level on table.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse appear on display.
  7. Interpret: Note risk category (green/yellow/red).
  8. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day. Avoid caffeine, smoking, and exercise 30 minutes before.

Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: If icon flashes, measurement may be inaccurate. Repeat after resting. Consult doctor if frequent.

Memory Function

Stores readings with date/time for two users.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average: Display shows average of last 3 readings for selected user.
  4. Clear memory: Press and hold USER and MEMORY together for 5 seconds (resets current user's memory).

Note: Memory full icon appears when storage is full. Oldest readings are overwritten.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug/turn off before cleaning. Use dry cloth only; no liquids or solvents.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water. Do not disassemble. Avoid sharp objects near cuff.
