Before First Use

Prepare device for initial measurements.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Select user: Press USER button to choose user 1 or 2.
  4. Apply cuff correctly: Position artery marker over brachial artery on bare upper arm.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Avoid caffeine, smoking, or exercise 30 minutes prior.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  3. Ensure cuff is snug but not tight; tube runs down center of arm.
  4. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP button; device will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Read results on display when measurement completes.
  8. Press START/STOP to turn off or wait for auto power-off.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure proper cuff position for accurate results.

Memory Function

Stores up to 99 readings per user with date and time.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Switch users: Press USER button to toggle between user 1 and 2 memory.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds when memory is displayed.
  4. Average reading: Automatically calculates average of last 3 measurements taken within 10 minutes.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Clean device with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  3. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
  4. Check cuff periodically for wear or damage.
  5. Do not disassemble device; no user-serviceable parts inside.
