Device Overview

Front Panel: LCD display, START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER button, DATE/TIME button.

Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date/time, and select user.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold DATE/TIME button, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  4. Cuff application: Place cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow proper measurement procedure.

  1. Sit comfortably: Back supported, feet flat, arm resting on table at heart level.
  2. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff snugly around bare upper arm, tube facing downward.
  3. Position: Ensure cuff is 1-2 cm above elbow, artery marker aligned.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button, remain still and quiet.
  5. Cuff inflation: Device inflates automatically to appropriate pressure.
  6. Reading: Results display with pulse rate and WHO classification.
  7. MAM mode: For 3-reading average, press START/STOP again within 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not move, talk, or cross legs during measurement. Wait 3 minutes between readings.

The display shows systolic pressure (top), diastolic pressure (middle), and pulse rate (bottom).

Symbols: AFIB symbol flashes if atrial fibrillation detected. Irregular heartbeat symbol appears if pulse irregularity detected. Consult physician if symbols appear frequently.

Memory Function

Stores up to 99 readings per user with date/time stamp.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  2. Delete reading: Press and hold MEMORY while viewing specific reading.
  3. Delete all: Press and hold MEMORY and USER simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. User selection: Press USER button to switch between User 1 and User 2 memory.

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 99 readings stored. Oldest readings are overwritten.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug or remove batteries before cleaning. Store in provided case when not in use.

  1. Clean cuff: Use mild soap and damp cloth, air dry completely.
  2. Clean monitor: Wipe with dry, soft cloth.
  3. Battery replacement: Replace when battery indicator shows low.
  4. Storage: Keep in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water. Do not use alcohol or solvents. Do not disassemble.
