Initial Setup

Power on device; configure basic settings.

  1. Insert batteries or connect AC adapter: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (not included) or plug in AC adapter.
  2. Set date and time: Press SET button, use arrows to adjust, press SET to confirm.
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.

Tip: For most accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings:

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Apply cuff correctly as described in Initial Setup.
  3. Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Reading appears on display with systolic, diastolic, and pulse values.
  6. Cuff deflates automatically. Results are stored in memory.
  7. Remove cuff after measurement is complete.

Note: AFIB symbol appears if irregular heartbeat is detected. Consult physician if this occurs frequently.

Using MAM Mode

MAM (Microlife Average Mode) provides the most accurate reading by averaging 3 consecutive measurements.

  1. Press MAM button before starting measurement.
  2. MAM symbol appears on display.
  3. Press START/STOP to begin first measurement.
  4. Device automatically takes 3 readings at intervals.
  5. Final display shows average of all 3 readings.
  6. All individual readings and average are stored in memory.

Important: Remain seated and keep cuff on throughout all 3 measurements for accurate averaging.

Memory & Data Management

Device stores up to 99 readings with date and time stamp.

Tip: Regular data transfer helps track patient blood pressure trends over time.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and device longevity.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth only. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Clean monitor with dry, soft cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  3. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
  5. Inspect cuff regularly for wear or damage.
