Specifications

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries or connect AC adapter to power outlet and device.
  2. Connect cuff tube to the air socket on the main unit until it clicks.
  3. Power on device using the START/STOP button.
  4. Set date and time using the SET button and arrow keys.
  5. Install WatchBP Office software on PC from provided CD.

Taking a Measurement

Follow proper procedure for accurate results.

  1. Have patient sit quietly for 5 minutes before measurement.
  2. Apply cuff to bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Center artery marker over brachial artery.
  3. Secure cuff snugly but not too tight (should fit one finger underneath).
  4. Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  5. Press START/STOP button to begin automatic inflation and measurement.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. View results on display: Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse, and any detection icons.
  8. Press MEMORY button to save measurement to selected user slot.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Incorrect cuff placement affects accuracy.

Memory and Data Management

Store and review measurements.

  1. Select user (U1-U4) before measurement using USER button.
  2. Saved measurements include: systolic, diastolic, pulse, date, time, and any detection flags.
  3. Press MEMORY button to review stored measurements for current user.
  4. Use arrow buttons to scroll through memory.
  5. Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to delete all measurements for current user.
  6. For long-term storage and analysis, transfer data to PC using WatchBP Office software.

Note: Memory is maintained when changing batteries if done within 2 minutes.

Connecting to PC/Software

Transfer data for analysis and reporting.

  1. Install WatchBP Office software from provided CD.
  2. Connect device to PC USB port using provided cable.
  3. Open WatchBP Office software on PC.
  4. Press DATA button on device to initiate transfer.
  5. Follow on-screen instructions to import measurements.
  6. Use software to generate reports, track trends, and export data.

Tip: Ensure device drivers are installed (automatic with software installation).

Care & Maintenance

Keep device clean and functioning properly.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
