Most Common Issues (All Models)

• No power / display blank: Check batteries (replace all at once with new alkaline); ensure correct polarity; for rechargeable – charge fully; try AC adapter if included.
• Error message during measurement: See error code list below; common causes: movement, incorrect cuff position, talking, full bladder, crossed legs.
• Erratic or very high/low readings: Rest 5 min quietly before measuring; sit with back supported, feet flat, arm at heart level; cuff on bare arm, not over clothing; use correct cuff size (22–42 cm standard, check fit).
• Cuff not inflating / deflating too fast: Check cuff connection secure; ensure hose not kinked; replace cuff if damaged/leaking air; batteries low can cause weak pump.
• Bluetooth not connecting / app issues: Enable Bluetooth on phone; pair via Microlife Connected Health+ app; keep phone within 1 m; restart both devices; update app/firmware if available.
• AFIB detection not working / frequent warnings: Remain still during measurement; irregular heartbeat may be real – consult doctor; some models show AFIB symbol only after consistent detection.

Common Error Codes (Most Microlife Models 2020–2026)

• Err 1 / E1: No pulse detected – reposition cuff higher on arm (1–2 cm above elbow); stay still; artery may be weak – try other arm.
• Err 2 / E2: Inflation / cuff pressure problem – check cuff fit & connection; replace if leaking; avoid tight clothing.
• Err 3 / E3: Abnormal result (movement artifact) – remain completely still; do not talk or move during measurement.
• Err 5 / E5: Cuff pressure too high – deflate manually if possible; check for blockage; consult service if persistent.
• Err 10 / Out of range: Reading exceeds device limit (>280 mmHg systolic or <40 diastolic) – seek immediate medical attention if symptomatic.
• AFIB / Irregular heartbeat icon: Possible atrial fibrillation – do not ignore repeated detections; see doctor for ECG confirmation.

Wrist & Talking Models Specific

• Wrist model inaccurate readings: Wrist must be at heart level (raise arm with elbow supported); palm facing up; more sensitive to position than upper arm.
• Talking model no voice / low volume: Check voice setting (some have on/off); replace batteries; volume may reset on power cycle.
